Huntsville Museum of Art Gala!
Carole has artwork to be bid on and won as Gala celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2011! This important fundraiser for the Huntsville Museum of art presents over 100 historical and contemporary artworks in a range of media and styles, to be auctioned to the highest bidder during the annual Gala event.
The 2011 Black Tie Dinner and Live Auction takes place on Thursday, March 3 at 6:30pm. The event will honor the featured artists from the past twenty years. Examples of each artist’s work, provided by local collectors, will be on display throughout the evening. A gourmet five course dinner will be catered by Jimmy Boyce of Cotton Row, Pane e Vino and Commerce Kitchen. The live auction will follow dinner and feature artwork, jewelry and luxurious escapes.
Gala festivities come to a close with the 2011 Cocktail Party and Silent Auction on Saturday, March 5 at 6:30 p.m. Musical guests and Gold recording artists The Tams make an encore appearance and are sure to keep the dance floor hopping. Our silent auction features a wide selection of works by featured artist, Gary Bodner, as well as paintings, sculpture and jewelry from local and regional artists. Hors d’ouevres from Catering by Narvell will be served throughout the evening.

Sharing Wellness
Being one who exercises regularly and who is into my 40's, I suffer so often with tightness and soreness. The past several years it's caused alot of angst in my hips, quads and hamstrings. After a wellness session with Naomi Jacobs yesterday, I am sold on this idea and just HAD to share!
