What's Been Going On!

November was really exciting and busy with lots of great classes,  my St. Paul show at my sister Claire Kayser's home.  I am so grateful to all of my awesome students and clients.

These are some who attended the Aubie vs. Big Al Wine & Paint Night, and beautiful Melissa Hood was the only Big Al painter.  Like energy attracts like energy and mostly Aubie painters attended.   But we really were open to more Big Al painters!  It was lots of fun!

A few days later, we had our Wine & Paint Night with Shoes!  These 2 gals came from Huntsville to enjoy time painting and socializing.  Didn't they do a great job??

A couple of days later I was in St. Paul, MN with Claire for her first ever home gallery show.  It was fantastic!  There were about seven of us artists--painters, glass artists, potters, writers. jewelers and live music.  We had some great hors d'oeuvres and tasty wine--thank you to Claire's husband Tom and her mother-in-law Marlene for making it so special!

Carol Bruess was on hand promoting her and Anna Kudak's great books: What Happy Couples Do and their latest: What Happy Parents Do.  You have to check out their site.  They are precious gals!

Wine & Paint FUN!

This week's Wine & Paint Night was phenomenal! I had the largest group ever and lots of awesome ladies. We usually cap the group at 12-14, but now we've learned we can fit more--we had 16! The theme was shoes, and I had a wonderful time with these ladies.  They came as friends, family, co-workers, etc.  It was great!

Wine & Paint Tonight!

It's here!  It's tonight!  Come and paint with Carole the above painting.  Bring your own beverage, and Carole will have a few hors d'oeuvres and mingle time, then you will all begin painting at 7pm sharp until 9pm.  It's going to be fun!  Grab a friend and make it a unique, fun social event.  It had been open to 12, but we can accommodate a few more, so come on!  If you're out of town, call with your credit card to reserve your spot.  It is $50 per person.  Otherwise, take the risk and get here fast to claim your valuable spot--then take home your own piece of art.  You're invited!  No talent or experience necessary.  Looking forward to seeing you....Want more info?  Download the pdf....

Wine & Paint Coming Up!

Happy Hump Day to you!  Thinking about something fun to do?  Well, join me for Wine & Paint Night  THIS Tuesday night June 3rd!  You can show up at 6:30 and chance it that there will be a spot for you and your friends OR you may call and pre-register by paying your fee.  We will block off seats for 4 or more in a group.  At 6:30 the big red door will open for registration and for a time of mingling in the back bar area.  At 7, the fun begins until 9pm.  Don't miss out! Girlfriend Paint Party!

Tuesday night, a group of fun ladies had me over for a Paint Party (a "GIRLFRIEND" one) in Huntsville, and we had a blast! Michele had a spread of great food and wine and had set us up in her beautiful dining room with protective plastic on her table and floor, and the we were free to create without much worry about messing anything up. I hauled in my tub of supplies, and then we were ready! Our subject we chose to paint was some cool martini glasses and olives that we added from our imagination to complete our paintings. I loved working with these lively gals--they just seemed to melt into the "therapy" and relaxation that creating can bring! Thank you Michele, Candy, Susan, Sonya, Courtney, Elizabeth and Anne!

Wine & Paint Fun!

Wine & Paint was so much fun this past Tuesday night! I had 12 people attend--3 painted and the rest mingled, sipped and watched. I started a huge commission, and the other painters worked on things that they had started already. They were awesome! Bonnie and Michele had painted with me before, and Sharon was an amazingly talented painter already! The "watchers" were from Moulton, Athens, Huntsville and Decatur. What a joy it was to share some good antipasto platter and wine with art lovers for the love of art!

I updated my site! It's lively and energetic like I'm feeling right now. Let me know what you think of it. Changed the first song in the jukebox too. The new song is by Mika and is called Love Today!
